This is going to be short and sweet as my laundry, dishes, and dirt all seem to be piling up today.
As I read about Moses and his journey to bring the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, I couldn't help but feel relieved that this holy man felt so inadequate. Even the author of Hebrews makes note of his faith and perseverance. He went where God told him and did what God told him. Although, he did question God, ("Who am I, that I should go...?"), second guess God, (he tried to get water out of a rock from his own power, not God's) and even complained about the people he was chosen to lead.
How do you second guess yourself?
What do you do on your own power, and not on God's?
Do you complain, even though where you are is right where you know you want and should be?

This post really hit home. I was just dialouging with a friend on some of the same principles.
To answer your questions...I constantly 2nd guess myself in ministry (not feeling qualified to do what I'm being challenged to do while at the same time knowing that it's God who does it though me), In my own power I continue to try to care for His temple (w/o great or consistant success - can anyone say 'slow learner'), and on the complaining thing...not sure at this time if I am really where God wants me, (trying to seek His guidance on a directional change).

Moses is in our daily devotions this week also. My favorite part about Moses is that he too thought he was unqualified to speak in a public forum and when he finally decided to do what he was asked, lo and behold, God's work was being done. I'm also reminded that Jesus was homeless and He still got things done. If I could only just remember that I just need to let go and do. Thanks for the awesome reminder, sis!
